Nisargadhama is a beautiful island formed by the river Cauvery. This is situated 25 kms from Madikeri, 2 kms from Kushalnagar, in the Western Ghats.

Nisargadhama is an island in Cauvery and to reach this island you have to cross a hanging bridge. The forest boasts of foliage, teak and rosewood, bamboo grooves. One may visit the mini zoo, the deer park and elephants and spend the nights in tree houses facilitates with resturant. The place is ideal for picnics and boat rides.

Tibetian settlements in Kushalnagar and Bylakuppe are seen with monastery between well developed lawns and small ponds are enchanting. Periodic chants and sound of bells add to the serenity of the place. The place is suited with its appropriate name.
