Shiv Gange waterfall is situated on the border of threee taluks of North Kanara district (Sirsi, Yellapur, Ankola). The water falls plunges from about 200 feet, providing a picturesque view and pleasand trek. In the middle of the river is a Ganesha temple, on the upstream.
On can take the deviation before walking down the valley to view the fall. Forest Department has set up observation point from there one can get a good view of the waterfall. One needs to carry their own rations and tea shops are available en route. It is dangerous to try to get into the water. Other places of interest nearby would be Jog falls, Unchalli falls, Honnemaradu falls.
